Also in high school, I made “The Segments Hotel & Tower”, a 43-story high rise concept I designed myself whose program is predominantly based around a hotel, office spaces, and several conference rooms. There is an outdoor swimming pool on the ground level as well as a large awning covering the valet car entrance. The massing of the building consists of a box, a smaller box centered on top of it, then another on top of that one which is the same size, but set back towards the back corner, a sequence which is repeated three times. The building also has two “legs” sticking out on the first two levels which contain a large interactive covered balcony, a gym, and exclusive hotel ballrooms.
