About Me

I graduated from the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture & Design at the University of Houston in December 2024. As a future architect, I hope to leave a mark on the urban landscape of Houston and beyond. My years of experience working with and studying buildings gives me some edge compared to other people who are just entering the field. I have been making models of buildings and city plans since I was 12 years old. I began researching skyscrapers around the world and was fascinated by the world’s tallest buildings and how they were designed.

In high school, I completed my Eagle Scout project while in the height of my cancer treatment process. Soon afterwards, I made a large posterboard replica of the Messeturm building in Frankfurt, Germany, which is one of my most detailed projects yet. Following that was a series of even more passion projects, leading up to and following the beginning of my enrollment at the University of Houston. Two of these projects received state awards in high school for fine arts in the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS). At UH’s Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture & Design, I learned quite a few important skills regarding the practice and profession of architecture that I will no doubt carry with me into the field. I received the Dean’s List award during my second semester as well as my final semester at UH.
